[/]Floripa night is fun, with lots of options that multiply in summer when it is filled with tourists from around the world. Many nightclubs open only in the high season, such as clubs and bars in the northern part of the island around Praia dos Ingleses, which open only in the summer. Parties also increase after Christmas until the end of February.
Is there fun off-season? Yes! Lot, my friends and I traveled in September and there was not one night we run out party, drinks and dancing.
Most nightclubs that are open all year is near Lagoa da Conceição. There you can find tourists and local youth. There are lots of partying and good nightlife, full of bars and live music.
During the day Lagoa is very quiet, has beautiful outdoor cafes overlooking the sea where to enjoy caipirinhas and relax. At night there are amazing partys throughout the year.
We stayed at Che Lagarto Hostels Florianopolis, where they sell discounted tickets for P12, a great pub with good prices, with international artists. Also a place called Casa de Noca located in Av. Rendeiras in Lagoa, with local and Brazilian good bands, classic days of forro, samba, and reggae. Other cool places are Varandas (samba and forro) and John Bull (rock, open weekends only)
At Hostel they also offer transportation to pubs and a great discount for De Raiz, (it is a club with typical Brazilian music, is the closest to the Hostel, is on the same street, arriving at the beach). In summer the pool of Che Lagarto is open and the pre-dancing begins right there, but we could not enjoy it because we stayed in low season.
